Rates and Fees

Joyful Birth and Baby is not in network with any insurance providers at this time. Although any bloodwork, ultrasounds or consults with a physician can be billed through your insurance.

Full self-pay fee $8,250.

This fee includes the following:

Prenatal Care through your pregnancy.

Referral for bloodwork and ultrasounds.

Around the clock availability to the midwife via telephone.

Support and care through your labor and birth.

Postpartum care for up to 6 weeks.

1 Well woman visit prior to your baby's first birthday.

Prenatal and Postpartum Care only - $5,000

This option is for families choosing hospital birth. 

This fee includes the following:

Prenatal Care through your pregnancy.

Referral for bloodwork and ultrasounds.

Around the clock availability to the midwife via telephone.

Midwife will fax records and give report to the hospital when you are in labor. 

Postpartum care for up to 6 weeks.

1 Well woman visit prior to your baby's first birthday.

A 10% deposit is required in order to schedule your first appointment. A payment schedule will be agreed upon for the completion of the fee at that time to be completed by 34 weeks of pregnancy. a discount will be offered for families choosing to pay in full for their care at the first prenatal appointment. 

This is a Global fee, it is not discounted if you are entering care later in pregnancy or transferring from another provider. 

Placenta Encapsulation Costs

• Encapsulation: $350 and includes your capsules and a dried cord keepsake
• Placenta print on canvas: $15 
• Placenta tincture as an addition to encapsulation: $50
• Placenta tincture only: $250
