Midwives are health care professionals specializing in pregnancy and childbirth who develop a trusting relationship with their clients, which results in confident, supported labor and birth. While there are different types of midwives practicing in various settings, all midwives are trained to provide comprehensive prenatal care and education, guide labor and birth, address complications, and care for newborns.
Homebirth is a safe option for low risk families. Your risk level is evaluated with your midwife and helps to determine if you are a good candidate for homebirth.

The vast majority of transfers from home to hospital are not an emergency. Your midwife spends time during your pregnancy and birth regularly evaluating the appropriateness of delivering at home, if she evaluates at any point that delivery is more safe in a hospital setting this will be discussed and a plan made.
In an emergency, your midwife is trained to manage a complication and transfer to the nearest hospital for support.
We aim to leave your home cleaner than when we arrived! While you snuggle in bed with your family, rest assured our five star assistants are tidying up! You may even be surprised to find folded laundry or clean dishes.
